oooooh jesper kyd is the shit. he did the soundtrack for freedom fighers. so-so game but the opening sequence is awesome and only achives it with his music.
You know, I find it really really awesome that I can go back to these muxtapes anytime I'm feeling in a certain mood and just play them. Tape 1 and 2 in particular are awesome tapes to play while working.
I just added a track to tape 5 by my band, Double Helix. I think you'll find it appropriately post-apocalyptic! Whole album of dubstep / rap / punk bizness will be free to download from Aug 16th, if you like it, from Audiodacity.
(By the way I contro'd this song because I thought it suited, not because Im a self-promoting git... but I AM a self-promoting git, anyway.)
I have to say that this is all turning out to be some fucking great selections of music.
Tape 4 is completed! Well..kinda. There's one song left to go on that, but people have already started on Tape 5, so whatever. Just for a recap, here's what we've got.
We'll see how long this thing goes for. Five tapes might be a good number, but who knows? It might keep going. one of the things I'm liking about this project is it gets added to just a little over time. Enough time for people to discover some new music and perhaps add to it. And little by little some new people are discovering it and loving it (had quite a few comments about it on my twitter recently).
Thanks, folks. Keep 'em coming. We have some amazing stuff already.
thanks all for these muxtapes, my company just cut off all streaming music and video websites so I have to find something to listen to when I'm crunching data
