That's very good, although it does illustrate just how implausible Anna's hair is.
Was she dressed up to promote the book or because she's a fan?

The Anna M costume is incredible and perfect in detail and execution! Fantastic job!

And I have to say, Belle is hot! Damn! She looks great (in that costume, oh yeah in the Black Cat costume too) ;-) Is she a model or actress?

BelleChere is a gifted seamstress and costume designer (I'm fortunate to have her as a reader).
If you do see her at the convention or stop by her blog, be sure to wish her husband Jerry well. He's had some back trouble recently.

I'm impressed that not only can she make the costumes, make them accurately and professionally, she can actually pull off wearing them.

Um, yeah...I guess my point is that she's hot, too.

She even got the complicated belts right. Very impressive!

    Hey all!

It's great to hear such awesome responses already! She's extremely flattered (and yes, she's a fan rather than someone paid). This is actually her husband, Jerry, we just got back from NYCC for the night, and we can't wait for tomorrow too! It was great talking with everyone at the Avatar booth too, they're REALLY good people. Thanks a lot for the care too, Z, I'm making it through with back pains with help of a cool cane. Thanks all!

Jerry, good to hear from you, tell your lovely wife I say 'hello' and that I hope I haven't misrepresented her here in any way.

Yo thanks "Z"! I'll try to track down her blog.
Unfortunately I am nearly 4000km away from NY presently, definately not attending the convention :-(

Her husband Jerry must be one incredibly awesome lucky guy, I worship at his feet!
And as you suggest I wish him the speediest recovery, hate back pain, it seriously is a pain in the ---.

Dude just saw your posting, your wife's costume is incredible!
And Z said to wish you a speedy recovery for back pain- FYI my favourite NSAID anti-inflammatory is Diclofenac (prescription only, 50 or 75mg), it works awesome in my experience. Prob won't get rid of the pain but if it works it will help.

No pics of the Warren Ellis costume? Maybe it was just an amazing coincidence, but considering it was paired with an Anna Mercury one it seems too good to be true....
