I took this one lunchtime after embarking on my 360-odd days of 2008 project (which I'm currently nearly two weeks behind with the posting of). It was as much luck and not knowing any better, this shot, but it just worked first time. Which was good, because it was fucking freezing up there.
I finished my degree, submitted a short story collection and wrote a draft of a paper about transgressive/bizzaro themes in short story fiction to present to the Oceans of Short Stories conference in Liverpool next month. After weeks and years of grinding away, I'm finally feeling like I'm accomplishing things.
I made a muxtape for the one I love on their birthday. I was quite pleased with it, and I hope they were too.
I don't have a very good camera, and think the majority of what I take is shit, but I like to take photographs, and put them on my deviantART page. I'd like to hear what you think, if you have any opinions. Here's one of the pictures I have taken recently: Thanks.
Here's a play I wrote called Enter the Mongrelman. It's a musical! Also, my latest freelance article for the East Bay Express about The Sword, a metal band. Go tell the Express what you think!
Brash Fiction, an old flash fiction blog I kept. The other day (I hadn't thought about it in quite a long time), I received an email seeking to link to my page from MexicoTravels.com or some such. I couldn't remember my password, so I wasn't able to return the favor. Anyway, there's that.
I might have to post a muxtape too. We'll see how the interface is and whether or not it's going to be overly time consuming (at work, you know).
It's the 13th page of my current project; I'm just hoping I can go the distance with it after what's been done so far gets rewritten this week. Should it ever come to anything, it's called Ronin Panda, and is an auto-allegorical work.
