It was cold, and I don't like Sharpies.

    That said...

I have been told I look frighteningly like Spider the two times I've been him for Halloween.

I've also been told, "OMG! You look just like Spider Jerusalem! I want to have your babies!" by numerous geeky girls on the internet when I've used the photos as my LJ usericon...

Brandon: It's 'cause you bloody do. I don't want to have your babies--'twould be impossible--but you deserve kudos nonetheless. How did you put the tattoos on? Sharpies?

I can't help but wonder what Ellis' reaction will be to this thread...

Pure love. He would show us the pure love that comes from being beaten with a lead pipe to an inch of our lives just so that we may heal to be beaten once more. Unless he's been down the pub in which case it would be a "bravo!" before the night of the lead pipes.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
warren shared an image of someone painted to look like Spider once.

I liked it much better, but then again it was a topless female.

    Otherwise yours looks great!

DarkKnightJRK: Thanks! Yeah, it's sharpies. I've got this stuff called harquus for them now (it's a polymer body paint billed as 'black henna,' but without the pesky extreme toxicity of most stuff called black henna), which I was going to use for the tattoos at Burning Man this year (I was going to alternate black tattooes and glow-in-the-dark tattoos as the Spider-inspired gonzo journalist persona I was going to use), but then I worked at the Alaska State Fair instead. Which is like the antimatter version of Burning Man.

Harquus is lovely.... There's this stuff called crystal indigo that looks like woad paint, too, that works much the same in blue tones. I've seen some lovely body art done with the indigo dye.....
