    Interesting post here from Tim Ferriss. I wonder if this is how Daniel Tammet learns languages. Brings up an interesting point though. If it only takes a couple of hours to understand the basic structure of a language, how much vocabulary do you need before you can be comfortable working in that new language? And does it apply equally to learning other rules and conventions - for example in story structuring \ comic layout etc.
