    I read issue 2 a couple days ago and its not bad actually. Its very light, and im sure its what the creators went for, good clean fun. I couldnt help but notice the huge similarity with white wolf's Changeling franchise, which prompt me to ask the following question: Sir Mckelvie are you aware of said game ? or is it cosmic coincidence ?

    Oh noes, outed as an RPG nerd!

    Yeah, I played Changeling and Vampire as a kid. I'm not sure there's too much similarity (for those who don't know, Changeling characters are faerie spirits trapped in human bodies, and they can "see" each other as faeries rather than the bodies they inhabit), but yeah.

    It's not intended to be a heavy-going book. To be honest I was a little worried that everyone would expect Phonogram part 2 from it, whereas it's just supposed to be a good, fun story.

    Albeit with metaphor. Lots of metaphor. I share that much with Gillen.

    RPG nerd...ouch that one hurts.I will get you back for this one. Played as a kid also and picked up the reference so I was wondering if it was intentional or not, there was no diss in mind while doing so.

    Well that was basically the essence of my post, that the book was probably intended as a light read and that is successful in its aim. I like the rockabilly flavor in the book, cool stuff

    Edit: I completely misread your first sentence, might as well forget mine, but I am too lazy to remove it.

    I've been picking up Suburban Glamour, on an initial recommendation from Warren, and have been loving it. It may be a "light" read, but the art alone is well worth admission, especially the coloring. God, do I love the coloring. And don't get me started on the covers. The four put together would make an awesome poster...and now's the time I should be told there is one already available for purchase.

    I just found out about you pencilling for Fraction on X-Men: Divided We Stand #1. Not to sound an asshole to you, or any other writers reading this, but Matt Fraction is probably my favorite comic writer at this time. How was he to work with?

    I've been really enjoying SG. Jamie has become, very quickly, one of my favorite artists and it turns out he can write too. Bastard.

    Plus, the pokemon-ish cat thing that talks to Astrid? Creepy lookin'.

    But yeah, I'm liking it.

    ok, finally got to read it- and i busted up laughing at the page with the massive black cock/ knee. thanks guys...besides that, its still pretty good. this issue seemd very sparse, dialogue wise (maybe its just me) though giving the book an emptier feel. i like.

    I still need to get the latest issue.

    The LCS guy is still acting like he ordered it even though he was "not invoiced" for it the week it came out. Then the lady of the house and myself hit all the other area shops up yesterday with no luck. The ones that did carry it were sold out and the ones that never heard of it were condesending pricks.
    I got burned bad by a once reputable online comic retailer so I am resisting going to the net.. but I guess at this point I am SOL otherwise.
