if you're as old as me ( although you are a few months ahead, and my boyish good looks do make me look younger *ducks*) you'll have watched it religiously, unless you had a life and went out and played with *gulp* friends outside.
i wonder how much my friend's inflatable liberator is worth now ?
I watched it and enjoyed it (for the most part). I belong to a sci-fi fan club at the time (Dr. Who being the main focus) and Blakes 7 kind of split the group, with a bunch of the women-folk becoming Paul Darrow's completely deranged groupies, writing bizarre fan fiction that, fortunately, my brain refuses to let me remember. Something involving teddy bears and ice cream I think.
Still... one of the best final episodes to a series I can think of.
I remember Blake's 7, I only started watching it religiously in Season 3 when they added Josette Simon to the cast. But I think Ace of Wands would be the perfect vehicle for a revival.
No love for "Man in a Suitcase" (which got turned into 'Land of the Giants' here somehow) or "The Tomorrow People" ? I remember getting to see the last episode of Blake's 7 ... and not getting it ... then.
Kit Pedler and Gerry Davis! They created the Cybermen and wrote most of the cyber-stories up to Tom Baker's years.
I was in the local Star Trek group, back in day, and they regularly published fanfic/art anthologies that were just about evenly split between Trek, Blakes 7 and The Professionals. One big happy camp of TV fans in sub-tropical brisbane.
And I will profess my juvenile love for The Tomorrow People! It was always broadcast at some time it was almost impossible for me to get to see, so I had to chase it. Ah, another thrill that technology has taken from the young'uns... :^)
The Tomorrow People was re-done a few years ago. I never saw much of the series, but loved the novelisations when I was a kid. The scenery and acting was much better in those.
I also got the Tomorrow People only though the novels, don't know if I ever actually got to see the show so that would explain it if it wasd on at an odd time in Bris.
Between that and the Chrysalids, Slan, etc. I was awfully disappointed when my telepathic powers never developed.
