    Warren/Chapel Residents,

    I was going through my Avatar/Apparat collection of Warrens' and others' works and was trying to decide which artist I enjoyed the most. Of course it is a stupid question because each artist brings his/her own style which fits perfectly with the respective story. But I was wondering what your quick thoughts were on working with the below artists. Pain in the ass, good drinking buddy, smells, has genital warts...you know things like that. For the other folks, what are your thoughts on the work?

    Jacen Burrows - DARK BLUE/BAD WORLD/TRANSMET (FILTH OF THE CITY)/SCARS

    Mike Wolfer - STRANGE work

    Juan Jose RyP - BLACK SUMMER/WOLFSKIN

    Raulo Caceres - CRECY

    Max Fiumara - BLACK GAS

    Ivan Rodriguez - DOKTOR SLEEPLESS

    As I mentioned in the Black Summer thread, I'm becoming quite a Ryp fan.

    Warren: I assume then that your scripts are translated for them? Does that ever cause any difficulties?

    Not so far -- Avatar have engaged excellent translators. It's something I keep an eye out for, as I've encountered problems with translators in the past...

    I'm sure Warren's too cagey to get pulled into what could result in a Burrows/Wolfer grudge match. Considering my skeletal frame, Jacen might have a slight body mass advantage, but I'm wiry like a spider monkey. Watch your ass, Burrows...

    I like Burrows' work a lot -- very clean, very strong figures and he builds a very realistic world.

    Ryp is the only artist that's worked with Warren that I actually stopped and looked at all the pictures instead of rushing through the first time I read it. That guy's crazy.

    If you haven't checked out Crecy then you are missing out on some fantastic art. Caceres knocks that one out of the park.
