@Harchangel, I don't remember laughing this hard in a long time. The video you posted is fantastic. All trailers should be this creative.
One I liked was "No Country for Old Men" redband trailer.I thought it captured the feel of the movie, the music is nice and the pacing is good, unlike "There Will Be Blood"'s trailer, which made it look like an action film. I'd have made this trailer a bit more gloomy, though. Maybe with the sheriff's initial narration illustrated by images.
@ Zombinoid- I still sometimes catch myself saying 'Sparta' when I mean 'Madness'.
I'm noticing that trailers now are way better than the actual films. Spider Man 3 had one of the greatest trailers I've seen in years, and it turned out to suck fat donkey balls as a feature film. But the one I'm linking is maybe my favorite trailer ever. The Shining
Really though, I find trailers are much better than the movies themselves at this point. That's saying something interesting about our culture and marketing... but seriously, The Dark Knight Trailer is almost perfect, and the Hellboy 2 trailer is brilliant.
Those guys who did 'Shining' did a whole series of reasonably funny ones. Sleepless in Seattle became a horror movie, Mary Poppins too. I'm sure you can find them all clicking through to You Tube.
Oh, The Dark Knight trailer. Fantastic. That shot of Joker yelling "hit me!" and Batman sliding his bike is amazing. The trailer captures the Joker's legend as a villain perfectly.
This Spider Man 3 trailer got me so unbelievably excited, and then the movie was like a punch in the face. And I keep wanting to say Star Wars 3 had a good trailer, but looking back on them they're all horrible, and remind me of how shitty that movie was/is.
