    I do love The Holy Bible, but it really is the only Manics album I still enjoy. It's brilliant, though, innit? It's fraught and angry and fuckin' nasty in places, but it's all so damned catchy. They were actually invited to play Faster on Top Of The Pops! I can't imagine the current crop of Nokia/T-Mobile-sponsored teen music programmes taking that risk. And maybe that's part of the problem.
