    how has no one mentioned the WIZARD profile of warren from yesterdays issue? i found it funny, in that kinda wizard-writes-about-almost-everything-in-a-retarded-manner kind way. Although i am glad to see that the twist from ANNA MERCURY somehow escaped unrevealed to the masses.

    wizard is attempting to be an all encompassing pop culture magazine now, so its still getting worse AND it manages to not focus too much on comics anymore either. unless they are written by mark millar. or someone who has written for tv and/or movies. and evidently, warren- which i assume is mainly due to the AXM run coming up.

    My favorite thing about Wizard was when the publisher(?) was caught funneling money into his underground mixed-martial arts fighting league.

    Only Wizard.

    seriously!!! i cracked the fuck up about that, as i realized the only place i saw ads for that shit was IN WIZARD.

    i do have to admit i read wizard most months, i grew up with it, and enjoy some aspects of it- BUT it is really going downhill fast at this point. it seems they would all sell out their comics coverage to get just a few thousand LOST or SPIDERMAN movie fans which equates to me not giving them money anymore.

    The only time I really dug Wizard was when an ex of mine accompanied me to the comic shop. She bought a copy of Wizard along with a couple other magazines. The issue of Wizard was sealed in plastic.

    Later that afternoon she came into the living room and tossed the magazine at me, clearly quite pissed off.

    "There are no FUCKING WIZARDS in that magazine."

    I believe I urinated on myself from the laughing. We broke up shortly thereafter.
