I love Punisher Max, and the first volume of Cassanova wasn't too bad, but I'm not sure if I should read War Journal or not.

I was going to buy it when it started but the first issues were Civil War and I was, and still am, ignoring that. Then by the time I remembered about it, the Punisher was running around dressed like Capitan America which was just really stupid IMO. Now, Fraction was already involved in taking another character I never much cared for, Iron Fist, and crafting a fine story and making me give a crap for the character. So I grabbed PWJ...

I love it. I collect the trades now (my pull list is already pretty expansive/expensive), and couldn't enjoy the book more. Nice mix of gritty and comedy. ]]>
