    strongbow is delicious!

"strongbow is delicious!" I never thought I'd hear anyone say that.
Life drawing when very drunk is great fun, but I wouldn't normally mix drink and work.

I think strongbow tastes like apple vomit, but each to his or her own.

I understand on-the-cheap. I drink Old English 800 for maximum efficiency in those cases. Nothing like a malted beverage that shares its name with a furniture polish. Good old forties.

steel reserve:211!!! its what i tell bums to buy when i give them money. i always give money to the homeless, and fully encourage them to use it for booze since everyone else seems to think they shouldnt. fuck that! if i had to live outdoors in downtown phoenix in the summer i would want to be wrecked as much as possible.

I used to drink King Cobra in the tallboy can when I was sad and poor - it was a grand day indeed when I could afford a sixer of Miller Genuine Draft, in bottles no less....

When creating? - Guinness, Jameson, single malts, good dark beer... single malts being the most common, they help me get my creative juices flowing.
When not creating? - High Life, Sam Adams (not the traditional lager or ale though), whiskey of almost any kind... red wine (I'm not picky, although I don't like merlot or pinot noir).

If it has a twist top it will suffice, if it has a cork - well that's even better.

Vodka, served with sprite/7up, or if I've got the nods, Red Bull.

I've never written or drawn while intoxicated, but if I did, it'd have to be under a cream stout or rum. So far, that's the only alcohol that doesn't taste like pee to me.

Vodka. I don't drink any other alcohol.

    Add OJ or Sprite.

I don't believe that booze or any other substance creates anything other than hangovers. Starting the day with a smoothie is nice, but has no bearing on what I do after that.

I've done some really good stuff during and after a forty of malt liquor. No clue as to how, but apparently it works.

I usually have a glass of red wine and/or a white russian.

Bourbon, with some favorites being W.L. Weller Reserve and Jim Beam Black. Guinness, as it's one of the only beers of which I'm terribly fond. Shots of Captain Morgan Silver rum. Cheap red wine. When I'm drinking to spur the creative process, I'm generally not looking for the best booze in the world, as it's more about the destination than the trip.

However, when I'm among friends and looking to have a cultured night of depravity, my choices are Kubler absinthe, Chopin vodka, Maker's Mark Bourbon, and more Guinness. Because Guinness is good.

I find for brainstorming and coming up with shit my place is at the bar with a little notebook and my favorite pens, steadily getting more and more messed up on any number of alcoholic concoctions. Lately being Dark Rums and Vodkas and sometimes a little SoCo.

For formatting said notes into some form of coherent fashion, threading the ideas into fabric of pages, I tend to use Red Bull and Coffee and I am decidedly not drunk but amped up on caffeine.

If I'm drinking beer or doing multiple shots, I'm not at the bar being creative, I'm punishing my liver for talking back.

    Cheers.
