Soleil Sky Doll was printed in Heavy Metal last year. It's got some interesting art, but the story feels lacking. If you like Heavy Metal standard faire, you'll like Sky Doll.
GOON #24 CASANOVA #14 TRANSHUMAN #2 WALKING DEAD #49 THUNDERBOLTS #120 TWELVE #5 NANCY DREW GN HC VOL 13 DOGGONE TOWN
And some random Marvel titles that catch my eye, I guess.
Now that the Spring semester is almost over, I can dive into the trades that I've been stockpiling. Nightly News, Fables, Boys, Transmet and some others.
Batman #676 DMZ #31 Green Arrow Black Canary #8 Huntress Year One #1 Young Liars #3 Transhuman #2 New Exiles #6 newuniversal Shockfront #1 Soleil Sky Doll #1 ARIA v2
Along with most of last week's list, as the comics shop I stopped at coming up to the parents apparently doesn't stock much in the way of comics, walked out with Moon Knight, but couldn't find anything else:
Detective Comics #844 Invincible Iron Man #1 Young X-Men #2 Black Magic 2nd Edition King of Fighters Artbook
You'd think they'd have a decent pile of those first two at least, but nooo. My wallet's gonna be hurting something fierce the next chance I get to go to Big Brain.
Amazing Spider-Girl for my girlfriend, Booster Gold, Gotham Underground, Huntress Year One, Last Defenders (probably), Thunderbolts.
I'll be getting the Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghul from the bookstore or Amazon (whichever has a better discount) at some point in the future.
I'm considering Guardians of the Galaxy, mostly for the tease that it ties in with the old series somehow, but I don't know if that should be enough of a reason.
