    Neat. Cary Nord became one of my favorite artists last year when I finally caught up on my Conan trades. It is a little weird to see him handling tech stuff since he is so good at dynamic, naturalistic anatomy but I'll be picking this up for sure to see what he does with it. I hope there are beheadings. He always does such a fantastic job with beheadings.

    I met Nord at Paradise Con in Toronto this past summer. Couldn't meet a nicer dude. Except maybe Warren.

    His work on Conan definately helped my getting back into comics a few years ago.

    My local retailer gave me the new Ultimate Human poster when I picked up U3 Friday. I will definitly grab it.
    I am really impressed with the stuff coming out of the Avatar line though and may start getting a lot more from them.
    Still it was the Ultimates that gave the capes enough credibility story wise for me to start getting more interested.
    The Hulk and IronMan are 2 of the least interesting marvel heros so it will be neat to see what Warren can do with them.

    Have to disagree there friend.

    Iron Man was the first morally grey hero.His human identity is someone who bought and sold weapons on a large scale and didn't have a problem with who bought them and why they were using them.Supers up to the point of his creation worked clean cut jobs as reporters,policemen or pilots.Tony's moral compass has never been as precise as someone like Superman's and I think that's what makes him so interesting and rich as a character.He's a billionaire who doesn't always face his problems head on and hides behind a glass of scotch or his body armor.

    As for Hulk,there is nothing cooler than the personification of a chemically imbalanced human's inner rage running rampant.

    I would also like to add that the current writers of Tony's ongoing,the Knaufs,totally understand this and are writing one hell of a monthly superhero comic.

    I look forward to it. Its been a while since any of the ultimate storylines really grabbed me (since Ellis was on UFF and Millar released comics within 2 months of each other).

    I'm interested in this one. It's literally the best brain v. brawn fight we could ask for. Ellis did an really fine job making Stark interesting again in the mainstream title, and what with the Orson Scott Card take on Ultimate Iron Man; there could be some really great ideas thrown about.

    Also, Ellis writes very good, cinematic ass-kicky.

    Just, y'know...no offense, but the delivery time hasn't exactly been clockwork in the past, so I'm probably going to wait for the trade. Eighteen months between issues is kind of a lot of woolgathering for a single story in the modern era.
