Rory Root died last night. Still in kind of a daze about it, which gets worse as my friends get the news and the testimonials pile up.

    Nobody fuck with me today.

    @DarkKnightJRK

    Rory Root, apart from being a really good guy by all accounts, was the owner of a renowned shop in Berkeley called Comic Relief.

    I'm sorry to hear about your friend Rory. I came accross this if anyone would like to send their condolences:

    I met the man once, on a trip out to the West Coast. Friends took me to Comic Relief as if on a pilgrimage. We got to talking about my job in exhibit design and how that relates to retail design and in the interim he sold me a metric ton of great comics. My condolences to his family and friends.

    I hadn't heard of Rory before your blog post Warren, but I read the backstory and it sounds like he was a top bloke. who contributed much. Condolences.
