    I work for a museum and exhibition design firm. We're doing an installation at a nature center with a "cabinet of curiousities" theme to it. We're kind of basing it on the old "Ripley's Believe it or Not" cartoons.

    An example



    We're looking for artists who can work in this style. This isn't sequential comic art, it's going to be part of a large scale installation.

    Does anyone have any suggestions of sites to look for artists? Since it's not comic work I didn't know if Panel & Pixel was a good place. This is professional work so I don't want to trawl Craigslist or throw the dice on digital webbing.

    Any ideas from those who know art and artists?
