    A Victorian idea comes to fruition...Sort of

    While the "Telectroscope" might not be an actual telescope or transatlantic tunnel, it's one heck of an exhibit. Kinda wish I were close to New York, so I could take a peek at some of my buddies over there.

    Then again, they're probably all passed out drunk somewhere anyway...

    This is probably the coolest use of the internet I've seen so far. The idea of just walking past down the sidewalk in New York and see what's going on in London without having to even do anything is intensely cool.

    Now if we could just walk through the glass and end up on the other end...

    That's the next phase. Though with my luck It'd probably have a hiccup and plant me in the center of Fallujah or something...

    I must see this the next time I'm in NYC!

    It's hard to believe anyone was ever dense enough to try and build some kind of ocean tunnel. Especially for this. Kudos to the great-grandson though.
