Use it to follow other people's Twitter accounts? Use it to post fiction, The Good Captain style? Use it as a commonplace book?
See, I knew this was the right place to ask about this.
I don't really follow any one else's accounts though, or reply to any responses. I'll need to make the new use for the account work around that.
I use twitter to follow people I know. My friends are spread out all over the world. Twitter allows us to be linked in a ongoing conversation.
Of course I get to e-mail my friends, of course I get to call them. What twitter provides is a chance for all of my friends to be engaged in a conversation together. We share things we've found, we bounce fiction around, we talk about the projects we're doing and we ask each other for creative input.
My list has authors, a medical doctor, a woman who works for nasa, a puppetter, programmers, illustrators. It's an internet salon of my friends.
I love using twitter, but since I'm lame and on pay as you go, I don't twitter my every waking thought, whaich I proabably would if I had lots of texts...

if anyone is interested. I haven't updated for a while since I used it lot lot to complain about my week in bed with food poisoning.
Looks like I never did post my Twitter on this thread, so here it is: madmatt213
There are random days where I post a bunch or not at all. Depends on what happens that day, really. I try to only twitter about stuff that might actually interest someone, though upon review I often break that rule.
Hmm, well I'm here. It's mostly me trying not to work really. Links here and there and random though bubbles.. though i suppose that's pretty much everyones twitter :P
