That is sad. I do remember the Carol Burnett Show being incredible to my 8 year old mind. I watched it all the time. I remember how much fun they all seemed to have on that show. And Harvey was always one of my favorites. It is a shame. I will have to be sure to introduce my own kids to the Korman classics.
@jayverni - I watched that show religiously as a child. I don't think I got any of the jokes, but loved how much they seemed to be enjoying themselves.
Yeah, I remember Blazing Saddles and the Carol Burnett shows rather fondly. He lived a long, fruitful life. I can't be too sad for any of us that can get that much out of it. Cheers to you, Harvey Corman!
@Val That is too true. If even half of us could be half as happy as he always seemed on screen, wouldn't this place be pretty damn amazing?
And everyone else I am ashamed I forgot about Blazing Saddles, and god knows how many other movies and shows I watched to see him. He was definitely one of the fixtures of my youth TV. Not exclusively, but one I would watch anything if I saw him in it. And it was absolutely the fun they had, script be damned, that brought me in. I'm sure I didn't get any of the jokes that young either, but I just loved watching them.
