    Hello everyone,

I've been fiddling around with my dad's old record player and have been figuring out the parts I need to replace. Now, I'm not sure if anyone around these parts will have anything useful to say, but if you do, speak up.

The headshell seems fine. All parts working there. The cartridge however, is a mess. Need to replace that, as well as the stylus (needle).

Now, my question to you is if you know where I might find these parts cheap. As in, $20 or less cheap. I know, I know, there's parts out there that can run someone $150 or more. I don't need anything fancy here, I just want to see if I can get it working again before I really dive into this thing.

    Thanks.

Circuit City usually keeps one or two cartridges around. Guitar Center typically has a whole bunch of them.
