    I've used this one a couple of times. Really easy to set up, but you do have to create the pages exactly right which can be a chore.

    While it's not how to make one, I think that iGizmo is a nice use of the tech.

    Tiger Magazine using a fairly thin Flash application, by the looks of it. You could also do it with Javascript - Greybox is one I might pick for the job. You'd need to alter the default Greybox navigation but that's pretty easy. A decent Javascript guy could have it up and running in an afternoon.

    I use the less-popular Thickbox on my Drupal sites (it's similar to Greybox but because it was written using the jQuery library works better with Drupal). If you want to check it out, click on one of the gallery images here.

    The tech iGizmo use is the proper stuff. The company I currently work for are looking at putting a whole range of their mags online using Flexipage through Vcab. The advantage with using them is that all you do is login and upload a PDF - does it automatically. You can then tell it to make all links live, do them manually and embed videos and flash. Nice n easy.

    The advantages of the Flipping Book one I use are it's cheap, it's easy to understand and amend and it's easy to embed in a page.

    Greybox isn't flip book tech Lingster, it's for popup or hidden image use. Not the same.

    @synthsapien: I think we may have insufficient specs.

    The various Javascript *boxes (Lightbox, Thinbox, Thickbox, Greybox, etc) do sequential image display quite readily, and with less production time and rigidity than a compiled Flash file. So I would say that if Warren wants to do this with a finished document - your example of a PDF serves well - which is all wrapped up and completed, then you may be correct about iGizmo. However, if he wants to do a serialized comic, with new pages (or panels) added periodically, then he'd probably be better off with something like Greybox or Thickbox.

    All the specs needed are in Warren's post. Tiger is a flash based mag using basic page flip tech. I was going off those.

    Well, we really only know one thing Warren wants: something that advances pages when it's clicked. Several solutions have been suggested. He can come back with more requirements and preferences if he chooses.
