The best way to start these things is to get everyone saying hello. So please introduce yourselves in this thread, adding a photo if you've got one (trust me -- the web works much better when people see that there are real people on the other end of a post).

Obviously, if you've said hello in previous Introduction threads, there's no need to do it again.

We don't insist on real names here. I find it helps, but, frankly, if you want to be a completely fictional invention of yourself, go right ahead. Hell, I've even known people who have started out fictional and then become their own invention.

    Hello. I'm Warren.

Hello, I'm Phill Sea. (Someone once asked me, "What's the sea about?" We both took a moment, we both laughed our asses off.)

I posted an image in the Self Portrait's thread, just a moment ago, then realized I've not ever posted in an introduction thread on White Chapel
(diepunyhumans, and various other message boards yes, but never here, as far as I can recall.)

Mostly I salsa, swim and audio engineer, in south east Michigan, USA.

This is me before I went to a ritzy as ritzy does bar, got wasted and danced with the most beautiful women in the place:

    Evenin', all.

Fresh from the sign-up page, I'm Vanessa, from South London, now in a little town near-ish Tokyo. Forgive me, for I'm not at my best tonight- the weekend's hangover still lingers. Anyway, I read, I take photos, I ride my bike, I crave british chocolate, I sing in the shower, I never know what to say in these introduction-type things.

Me, in a terrible Facebook-y pose...

Hi, I'm Hannah, and i will jump for joy if this image link works, becaue I've never done one before...
A pretentious photo, but it was that or the one of me when I was four, sitting in an actual fire engine and looking pleased about it. Which clearly nobody wants to see... must scan in more photos....
I read books, watch movies, cook things and plot escape from the West Midlands (UK), mostly.

    Hello, My name is Stin.

I've been lurking on these boards for a little while but decided to finally sign up when William Christensen directly ordered me to at WizWorld Philly after seeing me proudly marching around the con in a Doktor Sleepless getup.

    I'm from Rhode Island.
I work in the Biotechnology Industry.
I've been a fan of Ellis since I read my first Transmet trades and they got me back into comics in '98.

This is what I usually look like:

And this is the aforementioned Dok Sleepless costume:

@Stin - Good to see you man! Thanks for being out there flying the flag and for getting what, at least 5 folks you introduced me to?, all buying DOK. Cheers.
  3.  (2446.8)
Me. Tim Hamilton. I introduced myself back at the old site, but not here yet.

  4.  (2446.9)
I should have introduced myself last month, but I still wasn't sure if I was enjoying this forum more than I ought.

So far I'm inclined to think that comic authors might a better thing to cumbiah around than music or movies. Go figure.

I am running out of disguises, though.

Hello, I'm Alex Fitch; I've been a fan of Warren's for years, ever since Lazarus Churchyard. I'll do my best to join in with chat in the forum, but I've got two full time jobs, only one of which pays...
    Alex Fitch in Sci-Fi-London ...

Pleased to meet you.You can call me Dave if you like.

I skipped this introduction when I signed on. Not having any photos around (and no idea how to post them if I did) I wasn't sure if it was appropriate. Actually I've never been part of any online discussion group and I worry about making etiquette gaffes. Please bear with me if I do.

I love discussing comics, books, films, music and ideas. Why else would I be here?

I am a year out of date in comics unfortunately,a shock to those that know me. When you're between positions ,as they call it at the unemployment office, you have to make sacrifices.

    See you on the Board.

P.S. I am entirely blind to spelling and grammar errors until after I hit the Add Comment button, assuming I spot them at all. My posts will almost always be edited.

I'm Nick. I am a writer and reader. I was a U.S. Marine Infantryman. I now work at a shitty full time job and go to college full time, while trying to get noticed as a writer. I'm 26, so since this kinda thing takes time I ain't in no rush, (especially since I have zero free time to concentrate on anything else due to my other responsibilities). But, hey, watch out for me, I'll make it someday.

I usually don't spend alot of time on message boards, But this is Warren Ellis' board, so I figured I had to!

I tried to upload a photo, it probably didn't work... so it should be noted that I tried.

Oh yeah, I live in Pennsylvania, the home of the Zombie Apocalypse. Romero Rocks.
