I have an Etsy store here: JustAlexis. I sell prints, T-shirts, goggles, and various other costume-y items. I make some money with it. Not pays-the-bills money, mind you, but a nice bit of pocket change. I like it because I am html-retarded and can't manage to build my own website and online store.
I've sold ten-odd prints and a handful of cards on Etsy. All told, I'm not sure I actually have made money, what with money invested in stock of supplies and equipment and all. But it's been gratifying, and has inspired me to do greater things.
It also means I don't have to set up my own store/webcart - I tried, and I was not happy with the amount of time I'd have to invest to make it look and work the way I wanted it to. Etsy is an ok compromise.
I've also bought absolutely tons of stuff there, and my boyfriend bought me this for christmas: neurocharm bracelet
I just listed things on my etsy store for the first time a few minutes ago. Here it is. Everything in the U.S. gets free shipping this week. And I'm selling a whole edition of (only 6) etchings for $3 a piece.
