    Loved, loved every bit of drawing that either is Kirk or has Kirk in it. I think you really outdid yourself with the entirety of page 4, Mr. Duffield. Fucking beautiful.

    Also the holes in KK's socks on page 5 make me giggle for some reason.

    Sigh, I miss DC -- such a beautifully wretched hive of art, culture, scum and villainy. The highs and the lows of humanity all compressed into 70 square miles.

    KK's name reminded me of a somewhat bigoted book I read as a kid. It was about 2 Chinese brothers, one with a short name and one named
    Tikki Tikki Tembo No Sa Rembo Chari Bari Ruchi Pip Peri Pembo. It's a cute, if culturally ass-backwards story.

    Also, yes, this installment was pure gold all the way through. And I too see Connor in somewhat of a leadership role. In her own flighty way, I see Arkady the same way.
