Ah, high-larity, leavened with the threat of bodily harm. Mister Ellis knows how to make a Friday morning bearable!
Hey, was that the plan when scheduling the FreakAngels updates? To catch that Friday zeitgeist, and give the people something excellent to carry into the weekend?
(Realizing that it's not Friday AM everywhere, of course.)

Loved, loved every bit of drawing that either is Kirk or has Kirk in it. I think you really outdid yourself with the entirety of page 4, Mr. Duffield. Fucking beautiful.

Also the holes in KK's socks on page 5 make me giggle for some reason.

Now we all know the lesson the Lambeth lads learned the hard way: Don't Stick It In The Crazy.

the way that they used to diss me for living in Anacostia when I went to school on Capitol Hill

Ha, ha, you lived in Anacostia!

Just kidding -- I was a transplant to DC and always found the various cultures slagging each other off for living a few miles away quite amusing. I'm sure the Lambeth snarks are along the same line.

Sigh, I miss DC -- such a beautifully wretched hive of art, culture, scum and villainy. The highs and the lows of humanity all compressed into 70 square miles.

That was funny "Have you fucked them all!"

KK's name reminded me of a somewhat bigoted book I read as a kid. It was about 2 Chinese brothers, one with a short name and one named
Tikki Tikki Tembo No Sa Rembo Chari Bari Ruchi Pip Peri Pembo. It's a cute, if culturally ass-backwards story.

Hippies name their kids the damnedest things.

So, KK is part Scandinavian, part Japanese? Did I get that right?

Also, yes, this installment was pure gold all the way through. And I too see Connor in somewhat of a leadership role. In her own flighty way, I see Arkady the same way.

The death-stare from KK on the first panel of page 4 is just priceless.

    Well done as always.

    No, she's all hippie-parents.

Wow, it was wild to have those neurons reactivated after nearly forty years!

    KK's a one-woman freak show!

I guess there's no way around it: I officially wish I was from Lambeth.

I also wish we were told, I don't know, ANYTHING more about that boat tailing Jack.

    Bastard.
  7.  (2587.38)
Oh, this one is priceless. I laughed good and hard at page 5. :)

Page 2, Panel 3 - Oh, how I love the expression of fury, the hair, everything. Hell hath no fury like a woman. In any state.
