I tend to buy a comic that the creator is selling and just have them sign that. I feel if that isn't enough for you, and you need to be that clingy, you deserve arse eels.
At one of the last cons I went to, I got to meet Darrick Robertson and this guy had a huge pile of books that he had him sign, it was crazy, and there I was, standing with Transmetropolitian TP #0. I felt like I was driving a Toyota next to some car that someone would buy to compensate for something.
i used to be all about having as many signatures as possible-when i was about thirteen. nowadays, the once every 2-3 years that i actualy go to a signing, i tend to grab my favorite story, my favorite trade and a cover that would look nice with the sig for possible framing.
<strong>@Ferburton</strong> <blockquote>I got to meet Darrick Robertson</blockquote> It's <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darick_Robertson">Darick</a>, <a href="http://freakangels.com/whitechapel/comments.php?DiscussionID=2693&page=1#Item_4">by the way</a>.
<strong>@joe.distort</strong> <blockquote>i tend to grab my favorite story, my favorite trade and a cover that would look nice</blockquote> It's the best way to go. I haven't bagged and boarded in years, myself.
Is there confirmation that we DON'T need a con ticket for Friday to attend the forum....not coming in til Friday evening and want to make sure of this.....also, if they're kicking everybody out after the show, where do we camp to get a seat at the forum @9:30? No Hero#0 was fantastic, btw.
Yes, there are Gravel HC left as of right now. The HC was solicited in last month's previews (not the one that came out this week, but the one before that). If your LCS has already placed thier order with Diamond, ask them if they can advance reorder it for you. No orders are guaranteed though, not even the initial orders of the book.
I don't know when it is going to appear on the Cavalcade site for ordering.
