@madmatt213: We got it too. Maybe Diamond accidentally shorted your LCS their copies. I know our order was way off this week.

Yes I guess I am blaming Warren for all the Ultimates. I don't want to spoil it but the shocker at the end would never have happened pre authority.

I still have the first of his I read the Planetary/Authority crossover. It was the perfect intro to adult(not porn) comics at least for me.

How is SoG? I love Ennis and western's so I will almost certainly get it but is it one of his best or just good?

Any other Hunter Rose fans here? I love the Wheel of death from Devil by the Deed it is my screensaver.
    Art deco evil.

Streets Of Glory was out for sure...

A couple of other Mentions were Wolfmen $5 and Zombies $10 by a UK publisher

We sold out Wednesday of both, given the popularity of Horror comics and the sub-genre that Zombies have become now its not a surprise, but we rodered heavy since they were priced so nicely.
    * ..look like OGNs, some really nice artwork and low SRP. A new company accent UK?

Also From the Tomb #23 magazine..thier site is really strange, not too much info but the mag has a cardstock cover and reprints some really rare material as well as listing dates and factoids for comics and mags, color cover gallerys & more http://www.soaringpenguin.com/publications, comprehensive listings of Eerrie publications from 65-82..some great articles on Obscure Horror, both pre-code and no-code horror mags published in the USA. Awesome magazine...!

Crawlspace XXXOMBIES #2 from Image was really good as well this week.

<em>Streets of Glory</em> isn't very interesting so far, at least I don't find. Maybe it will all make sense once the series climaxes, but I'm not saying anything innovative or intriguing about it at the moment.

If you love Westerns though Unsub, <em>Loveless</em> and maybe <em>Jonah Hex</em> should be up your alley.

Bat Lash wasn't at all bad, Jonah Hex has been excellent since the word go...shame the sales aren't great on it.
Gorgeous art, great one off stories and mini-arcs, plus a nice retold updated origin and a Vertigo-esque mature tone as well, in my opinion far better than Loveless which i couldn't follow.

Deadlander is an amazing supernatural horror western, i don't recall the artist off hand but its worth the price of the series. From Dark Horse, the art resembles Gray Morrow, Creepy/Eerie magazine art.

The Lone Ranger is pretty good too, kinda neat that there are actually Western Comics on the rack again.

Definitely check out Jonah Hex, every story is a single issue. Low investment, and you bound to be entertained.

Fraction's Punisher continues to be over the top, funny, action packed and badass all in one.

Green Lantern is totally upstaging the rest of the big 7 in the solo book department. This book, and just about anything else Johns is doing at the moment, has what most DC books are lacking these days, direction.

The big thing for me this week was Poison Elves #80 which was the final issue of the series. It wasn't a complete issue as Drew Hayes hadn't completed enough before he passed away earlier this year. But just through the pages that were complete (bits and pieces from differant parts of the next few issues) and notes I'm satisfied in knowing what would have happened to the characters. Very bittersweet and the occasional tearing up just from remembering that there is no more Drew and no more Poison Elves.

Also picked up Zombies Calling and it was quite fun shake at the zombie genre.

I'd say for me it's Millar and Hitch's Ultimates Volume 2 HC in all it's sleek and brilliant violence*.

    Cheers,

    Chris.

*Mostly, the vikings and giant wolves were a little too much for me.

Unsub- are you blaming Warren for Ultimates 3 #1? ;)

That's something no-one but Jeph Loeb deserves any form of blame for.

You see, I always thought that and wanted that from Quicksilver and his sister, but i was still shocked to see it actually in print.
