Damn it. His view on things got me though some misguided years. I won't forget him ever. I need a drink.

    Jesus fucking Christ.

This is very bad news. He was one of those visionaries. He will be missed.

I really can't think of news that would have my day worse. The surely are things, but I can't think of them.

Something is seriously wrong in the world...

    Fucking Christ...

"Frisbeetarianism is the belief that when you die, your soul goes up on the roof and gets stuck." - George Carlin

Tomorrow I wake up in a less funny world.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
Enjoyed the last 60 seconds of this...

Celebrity deaths aren't supposed to matter that much. I think the last one that felt like the world lost something irreplaceable was Jim Henson. And now we've lost George Carlin. Well, fuck.

Ok, I originally said this to a good friend on IM, but I think I will repeat a bit of it here.

I view this loss in terms of what it is to the rest of us. Carlin, like Russet and Winston, certainly has friends and family who are sad. I don't feel sad like they do. I make note that the culture we all live in is now a bit less then it was. He certainly lived a good long life for the amount of punishment his body endured over time. That is a small thing back itself, but 71 is too young for genius I think. Then again any age is.

Fuuuuuck, that completely ruins the night. Hopefully Venture Bros can cheer me up here, but fuuuuuuuck.

My favorite bit was always the revitilization of the US prison system, with its fencing off of the useless states and televised executions, always makes me smile.

    @ JAmes Cunningham

Someone brought up "A Frog and his Boy" by Tom Smith earlier, so I've been reliving a bit of the Henson funeral tonight and was thinking how sad it was, almost right before I found out about this.

    These coincidences are fucking creepy....
