Well Pratchett's work has a very high appeal to pretty much this entire board's demographic. Its no wonder that so many of us, gathered here in the one place by our other common interests, also share such esteem for his work too. He is definitely one of the masters of his particular field - the success of his back catalogue attributes to that, and the length of it also means that he's been a part of everyone's life to one degree or another for a great many years...
