Confirmed by William Christensen this morning, Avatar is bringing Paul Duffield to Wizard World Texas in November to kick off the release of the first FREAKANGELS trade.
Oh man, wish I could be there. I recently read through all the Freakangels releases and I can't imagine the book being done by anyone but Paul. I'll be picking up the trade for sure and maybe I'll get lucky come NYCC next year to get it signed.
Thanks twitch :) I'm pretty stoked, this is only the second American con I've been to, and I get to go as a guest!! Hope to see some of you there and do some personalised whitechapel sketches!

I'll hold you to that - I've a list started already. I'm going to do my best to make it, as it is fairly close. Timing is a problem, as it's pretty hairy school wise, towards the end of the semester.
I was just throwing out this as an idea since some of us could get together, meet Paul, and satiate our comic con cravings in one fell swoop (speaking of Fell when is #10... I'm kidding, I'm kidding, no need for arse eels).
I cannot begin to describe how excited I am to know you will be at WWTX! The geek in me has asked my hubby to get us tix for our anniversary * sigh * oh well :) Any who. I'm having a tough time deciding if I need to do a full 3 days or not because I can't seem to find any kind of a program. Will there be autograph panels or just come to the table sort of thing? Canyou release that info yet??
@ Wysh I'm afraid it's all still very much up in the air. Me and avatar both want to make the most of the time I'll be there, which means I'll almost certainly be around for all three days... but it's a comic convention! Regardless of the schedule, there'll be stuff to occupy the whole time, even if it's just buying comics and reading them while smiling and partaking in the atmosphere :) And with regards to schedule, if I'm not doing signings or taking part in panels, I'll probably be around the avatar booth to chat or do some sketching. Like I said though, it's still early days organisation wise, so keep your eyes on the website... I think they'll be updating it with more details at the end of this month. William might be able to tell you more when he's back from ComicCon and gets a chance to check out Whitechapel.
