I am done. DONE. I am back in the hotel room, drinking whisky to kill the pain. Ariana's sitting next to me -- William put her on suicide-watch duties, as I have to sign some tip-in book sheets later and I don' wanna and I bet I can get that window open and hurl myself into the parking lot if I really try.

    DONE.

Oh, stop whining, you just signed three thousand and fifty seven books.

Do you find that signature looks different after signing 1000 books, or is that what makes signing that many papers so tedious?

Nothing is done altruistically. I hope you get everything back out over the course of the year that you put in...

    @Therimina

One does not drink whisky in "shots". One sips a fine whisky to savour the fine taste, perhaps in a glass of ice to keep it nice and chilled, if that is one's preference :) Yeah, I'm just kidding, just swig that bastard out of the bottle :)

I've never really been a whisky drinker my self, my drink is Tequila, which is a but of a curse, as it is fucking expensive. I go through a $30 bottle a week! I also love a good caesar. If you haven't drunk a casaer, you haven't lived! The best ones come with a chicken wing as garnish. Hardcore!

Congratulations on being successful enough in the comics business to have gone to another convention and signed books until you wanted to die. It can’t have been easy getting there.

Thank you for making Wizard World Chicago awesome. With you, as well as Bendis and Kirkman, there; it was the best convention ever.

Don't mention Bendis in the same sentence as Warren. Nooooooo! Just joking, I don't want to get flamed :)

My brother in law had you sign a copy of Transmet for me. You did. Thank you. I'd have asked you myself, but I had to work and couldn't make the show. For that you called me a wanker. My brother in law mentioned I own my own business and had to man the store. For that you called me a double wanker.

I'm not sure which I take more pleasure in. The fact that I have a copy of Transmet signed by you, or that you called me a Double Wanker. Either way, thanks for taking the time. Wish I could have been there to take part.

    Safe travels home.

I am glad you made it okay. Did you finish all your red bulls? I have no idea how you do it. You're liver was probably separated at birth with Lemmy's.

Thanks so much for making the convention all the more enjoyable. My cousin will definitely get a kick out of the personalized signed copy of The Crooked Little Vein I got him. I invited him to go but sadly he has no tolerance for the mass of stupids he runs into that do not know how to get out of the way of a wheelchair. We have discussed maybe putting cattleprods on the frame to help people understand the concept of 'getting out of the way'.

On a side note, for some reason I'm not receiving your tweets. Any chance I was mistakenly blocked? It keeps saying 'error' when I hit the 'Follow' button.

Anyway, good journey home. I'll be drinking a few beers tonight to celebrate your survival.

is it bad that i dreamed i was there last night?
it couldn't have been anything like it actually was, though, as warren was basically doing magic tricks the whole time. i think i chased a fully autonomous snake made of paper and a shiny rock around the entire building.
spiraltwist (or at least her hair) made an appearance too.

Great to see you again Warren, I just hope you avoided the convention season ebola. I woke up today sneezing and coughing blood tainted silly putty. I apparently have the immune system of a little girl with late stage AIDS.

Jacen - You are WEAK. Heal, girly man, for I am dragging you into the hinderlands again in 3 weeks for SDCC...
  9.  (2769.20)
That will get his immune system working.
