I was wondering if anyone could recommend me some music blogs. I don't read any currently, other than subscribing to RCRD LBL's twitter feed.

My musical tastes skew towards indie rock, if that helps anyone to narrow down their suggestion.

Matthew Perpetua's fluxblog. Seriously, I've lost count of the number of great bands that man has turned me onto. He's goes all over the genre spectrum but he comes from an indie-rock background, so it should suit you pretty well.

I haven't been there in a while, I go back now and already he's got a bunch of great stuff there!

I also like largeheartedboy as a sort of music news aggregator. It's very indie-rock, named after a Guided By Voices song, and gives you loads to go on every day.

though it has a related blog, I've found the blog to be useless next to the show, I've gotten a lot of great music from NPR's All Songs Considered.
    Podcast and Blog here.

Two music podcasts I really like are:

To and Fro (technically a radio show, but they thoughtfully podcast it)
    Muzak for cybernetics (Canadian podcast)

A friend sent me this link the other day. Not very frequent, but a bit bloody nice.

Brooklyn Vegan isn't bad. A little bit too New York centered sometimes, but still not bad.

Sterogum is a good read, but not enough 'new' bands for my liking, not that Brooklyn Vegan is any better.

An Idiot's Guide To Dreaming and 20jazzfunkgreats are two of my favourites - not really indie though.

Fabulist and Said the Gramophone are two I follow.
