Hey all, just wanted to share my con report from Wizard World Chicago.

    SIZER'S PHOTO CON REPORT
Having Warren there as a focus skewed the entire weekend in an interesting direction that's been sadly missing the last few years. So cheers for putting up with all the signings and long hours, Warren. It was much appreciated, especially from the indy creators hanging out in Artist Alley, where I took all the pix in my report.

    By the way...
Any other creators here who had a table in Artist Alley? How were sales? Jane and I were not moving very much stuff, and that seemed to be the case up and down the rows. Granted, the newest things we were shilling were an upcoming graphic novel and a promo book for a webcomic (along with the rest of our catalog), but still, things just seemed slow sales wise. I'm not completely surprised, but still...
    Any other thoughts or experiences?

Fat Boys and Chubby Checker, how could anyone go wrong with that combination?

I know, it just seemed so...right. And so wrong. See, music is good because it confuses me and takes my mind off of the drudgery of modern life.

So me and Carla got all steampunked up for Saturday of Wizard World. Afterwards, we took the eL out to dinner with Paul and Jennie Breeden. On the way back, Jennie took these awesome photos.

I think we shall be doing this again.

The hardest working man in the industry.
Chris and Anna.$13.99 to get to the top. Was it worth it? Beats a broken bottle in the arse. It's a man baby!Chris with Mike and his girlfrind Tammy, at the Freak Angels party.Day one, while

In all it was a blast. The most important thing learned: Warren Ellis does not regularly fill his testiculs with warm salty water.

    Jane_Irwin:

    You look great!
Also Carla Speed McNeil is so very heroically awesome!
    I love her.
Well ... I mean ... I love her from very far away in a manner that does not require her to consider restraining orders against me.
But I'm sure you know what I mean.
    Umm...
    RIghto.
    Yes.

    p.s. - LOVE!!!

    @Vanessa:

Yay! Glad you liked the shoot. I'm still kicking myself for not taking more shots. We will both be getting steamy again (along with anyone else we can drag along) for SPX, so if you're in the area, come on down.

@Jane_Irwin - That would be terribly cool, but I'm moving to Montreal in a few days, so I'll be too far and too broke I expect. Mostly that second one. Too bad though, as I'd be delighted to help you with your goal of more photos.
If you're ever in Montreal, I'm so there.
