   So, given that my experience is that 90% of people on Whitechapel are more interesting than me, now I have to follow another 139 people...
   I had a plan the other day to find interesting people on Twitter, "look on the public stream, and if I see someone who looks interesting, I'll follow them for a while and see if they can sustain it".
   Trouble was, the first person I added, @rhirhi, was not just interesting, but her first post was the most useful I've ever seen on twitter (she pointed me to Etsy) So now I'm too scared to repeat the process for fear of what I might find next.

   Working my way thru adding people, and can I just say that abu718's twitter stream is terrifying, in a good way. In general, if anyone out there is thinking "meh, I can't be bothered to add all these people", let me reassure you that it's worth it. About one in four, I'm reading the most recent tweak, lurching back from the screen in shock, and clicking the follow button as fast as possible.

   (I know I added this already, but I just wanted to profess my love for twitter!)
   
   I've been using it a lot lately while I work and play movies in the background. And the back and forth between other twitts can be downright hilarious (coughcoughBenTemplesmithinaschoolgirluniformcoughcough). But yeah, sometimes I'm very very active and sometimes I don't go near it for weeks. It really just depends on how I'm feeling.

    Yeah, I lost everyone too. It was driving me nuts, and on one page, it still showed all the people I was following, so I used that page as a guide and re-added everyone. But I'm still not seeing half of their posts. I have no idea what's going on. They better fix it soon--twitter has become really fun and addictive for me just in the past week or so that I've been on it.

    Since the response to the "I've lost followers/people I'm following" is on the previous page, let me say that they are working on it. At the bottom of your twitter page, there is a link marked "Status", which will take you to a page that tells you what's going on.
