    Upper Montclair, NJ has its very own pirate radio station, and it is the best pirate radio station. If you find yourself driving down Valley Road, near Bellevue Ave., make sure your radio is set to 91.1. Your regular program will be interrupted by Boyz II Men's "I'll Make Love To You", on endless repeat, any hour of the day, any day of the week. I heard this first-hand tonight, but don't take my word for it, here's someone's YouTube video:

    WBYZ: Boyz II Men Pirate Radio

    And (surprise!) a Facebook group.

    (from my comic/blog)

    Check it out if you're in the area.

    Actually, I'd like to know how one can make a pirate radio station. It's been on my mind a lot recently. Are there any resources?

    @buzz: It's about a block. Not far.

    @robin: For very short ranges, this would be pretty easy, if you've got an iPod. Good for jamming, along the lines of the universal-off-button TV remote. I know the textfiles archives have a bunch of very interesting files on pirate radio here (just do a find for "pirate"), but considering they all come from BBSes, they're probably quite outdated. Beyond that, I'm sure there are plenty resources on the other side of a Google search.

    @iangil: Thanks for the resources! The ipod one I could probably do sooner than the more wide-range one.
