Issue 7 is well worth picking up, as an aside - as the cover notes, there's actually 4 back-up stories this issue instead of two, making 26 pages of comics in the whole issue*. The back-matter got so squeezed that I had to put the interview on a web-page we link in the issue.
Jamie McKelvie -- I want that double page spread in any possible way I can get it. Be it desktop, poster, original art, etc. Seriously. Seeing someone able to draw that much joy into a single person is simply amazing. Is there anything I could do to get it?
Kieron Gillen -- Thank you for a lovely set. Very well written. Sorry I didn't insult Jamie like you want people to. If it makes you feel any better I can point and laugh at him in Seattle next month. What do ya' say?
I wrote a little send-off to the series on my blog, but I just wanted to say "thank you" to Kieron, Jamie and everyone else who's ever worked on Phonogram. If any of you makes your way down to Singapore, I'll show my gratitude in the only way I know how: by buying you as many bloody drinks as you want or can handle.
Bristol-based love to Kieron & Jamie for the whole run of Phonogram and Wolf Like Me in particular. I'm just up the road from where KWK did his run (Clifton - but it's OK, we bring down the tone of the neighbourhood...) and I could picture it perfectly.
Also, one of the best examples of magic I ever saw. Cheers, guys.
