Ah, I see it now--one rooftop is tiled, the other is smooth. I was focusing on the gun and the narrow corridor between the two buildings, it seemed like the same view.
Okay, I start with a dampening posting: Too much dead bodies way too quickly. Not much development (eg: they find out about tin hats, nobody noticed them, something alike happened before).
But the damage is already done - this was not a "we scare them" mind-game. So maybe from this action, new interesting conflicts (ingroup) will evolve into new character arcs and stories. One can still hope - and I am still enticed to read the next one.
I have to say, usually, web-comics aren't all that great. There are a few, but for me, they took a while for me to start to enjoy them, and even then just barely. FreakAngels is just brilliant. From page one, I was hooked. Thank you, Mr. Ellis, for once again giving me something to feed my headmeats with. So, do you have any plans on showing us what happened? Or having one of the characters explain it somehow? Would it be anything like The Midwich Cukoos? Or did you plan on taking it in another direction? I'm really enjoying this, and can't wait for further developments (such as how they get out of this situation with the invaders).
See. I told you it works. (the gun, episode 22 controversy) And it does, quite painfully for some. I think there is a hidden panel. It's just....where have they hidden it? press the right part of the screen and it appears ....
Oh fabulous episode!! Loving this to bits!! I had the wondrous opportunity to stand on the Embankment last Friday, staring at a Thames I haven't seen in near 30 years, looking at the surroundings and trying to calculate the Freakangel flood level....
