"At the core of YOUNG LIARS is the disturbing relationship between Danny Noonan, a habitual liar and crap guitar player from Texas, and Sadie Dawkins, the object of his desire. Sadie was a poor little rich girl until a bullet lodged in her brain turned her into an adrenaline junkie who only listens to Danny."
I'll certainly be buying this, but I wish Lapham would go ahead and release more Stray Bullets trades. I bought those two that covered the first fourteen issues or so, then went back for the third and found that it didn't exist.
as far as i know, stray bullets WILL continue, but dave doesnt have any sort of time frame for it he's spoken about publicly. so i would haphazardly guess that it will be a while before we see it.
I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
The piece doesn't say anything about Stray Bullets being done. However, unless Lapham is really, really fast, or unless he's only drawing the first "arc," it's hard to imagine him writing and drawing both on a regular schedule.
silverfish was great- i nearly flipped out because it takes place in th e town in NJ where i spent every summer as a kid. if youve read it, i have actually been on the log flume in the climax of the book. i showed my mom and she couldnt believe it.
This looks very interesting...but did Lapham even finish stray bullets ? If not I wish he would try and finish his story rather than jumping on to something else...or maybe team up with another artist who would draw...Allred would be sweet I think...but at the same time I understand SB is probably like a baby to him...anyway i'm thinking out loud, Young :Liars looks very interesting and surprisingly fresh, will buy 4 haha
