So... do people actually carry books around in their pocket?

Of course. Have you never seen anyone reading a book on the bus or train, or in waiting rooms, bars, coffee shops etc.?

I carry a book with me, in my pocket, every time I'm going anywhere that I know I'll be spending some time waiting around or on public transport. Often this'll be a digest/pocket-sized comic, like the afore-mentioned Lone Wolf And Cub, or James Turner's NIL (which I heartily recomend, by the way). I know I'm not particularly unusual in this habit, although of course the usual disparity between books and comics apply, and they are added to by the fact that the vast majority of comics are too big.

This is why I made my comic pocket sized. I want people to be able to carry it around with them, like a pulp paperback.

Yeh I read on the train and stuff, but I tend to keep the book in my bag, usually I wrap it in something to stop it getting damaged. I never take comic books out with me, for one thing I prefer to read comics at home, and I don't like taking them around the place in case they get damaged. I was specifically referring to carry a book around in your pocket.

Do you wash your hands more than twenty times a day?

Personally, I prefer to read at home and do some light handheld gaming on the go. I can break away from the PSP/DS simply by putting the system into sleep mode, but if I'm involved in a book then it's very easy to either sail right by my stop or ruin the story momentum by looking up every few minutes.
