Surprised to see no existing thread about this. I've been pretty excited about Everything That Happens Will Happen Today because I absolutely love My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts.

On my first listen now, and it really is nothing like their first collaboration, but it's really enjoyable. There's nothing groundbreaking going on, but it's a collection of first-rate pop songs, which is never a bad thing.

    Anyone else?

Nice production (surprise surprise). Only one track in so far, but I like the bigness of it all, it's like watching the world from the deck of the Byrne Airship.

I downloaded one song for free a couple days ago but I haven't listened to it yet. If I like it, I'll probably order the mp3 + CD package. But I want to check on it first. I'm hoping I like it as much as "Remain In Light" (which in my opinion is superior to "My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts" but is just as much of a Byrne/Eno collaboration), but that was a long time ago.

I picked up My Life in the Bush of Ghosts the other day thinking it was this album. Didn't realize they had already collaborated back in `81. It was really good.

Looking forward to this latest installment. :)

^ Bush Of Ghosts is phenomenal. This is so different, though. Curb is right, there is bigness. Lush, perfectly crafted pop. Going to be playing it all week, I'm sure.
