    Usual punk and punk-influenced rock:
Flipper: Generic Album (still on the playlist... It's two weeks that listen and re-listen to it)
The Unseen: Lower Class Crucifixion / State of Discontent / Internal Salvation (I saw them live in a recent punk festival and I liked them much)
Refused: Songs to Fan the Flames of Discontent
    Zeke: Super Sound Racing
    Motorhead: No Sleep at All
Ratos de Porao: Just Another Crime in Massacreland
    Gang of Four: Entertainment!

and finally (out of the punk-influenced): Fatomas' The Director's Cut

Flipper's been getting so much attention where I live. Kids are making their own shirts for the band with permanent markers.

I'm getting nostalgic for the nineties and playing The Cranberries. "Dreams" is still one of the more significant songs in my life.

    Of Montreal - Skeletal Lamping

You have no idea how happy I am to have gotten my hands on this already. Or maybe you do. Either way, it's really good, and I am happy.

    The Bug - London ZOO

Pure fucking dubstep meets angry political ragga vocalists and sounds experiments by the man who made his first album with DJ Vadim called ´Tapping the Conversation´ as unnoficial soundtrack for Scorseese´s ´The Conversation´ early masterpiece starring Gene Hackman.

    That was Coppola.

Sonny Sharrock - Ask the Ages

Kode9 and Spaceape - Memories of the Future

Zu - The Way of the Animal Powers

    Well, that's cool.

On piccadilly , the only fun things I've found so far are John Baker's soundtrack and advert gloops ( BBC Radiophonic Workshop) and Max Richter's minimalist audio postcards. Both instrumentalists , and both in the electronic/experimental category.

This week's indie is a battle-of-the-haircuts joyless slog through sticky pub back rooms on a wet Thursday night in Worthing.
