I usually point aspiring comics creators to http://www.panelandpixel.com , a forum set up specifically for them. But I don't think you all go there, do you? So let's see:
How many aspiring comics creators do we have in the audience here? Yes, even you people hiding in the dark who don't usually post. Time to wave your hands in the air. -

I want to make comics.
Working on one for the portuguese market right now, actually. Not that there IS a portuguese comics market... -
I am currently drawing and inking my first issue of a self published comic that I will have on the internet and in a few comic shops in the truro, halifax area of Nova Scotia.
Just have to color and print . -

I have two artists at work presently and next month I plan to go in search of a third. (Each working on very different projects.) -

I wrote a crappy 10-page comic with a friend of mine for a project in Latin class. We were on a bit of a short schedule, so I think he only got to draw 5 pages, 4 of which I never even saw.
But yes, doing that a lot would be fantastic. -
I suppose so (as in its interesting so far, in comparison to conventional short story writing)
...I've written a 6page story for AccentUK (out in 2009) and maybe another one for them for 2010, plus maybe something for Bulletproofcomics too if I get time...that's the meagre sum of my writing in the funny pages to date though....
artwork I've only done bits and pieces of pin-ups and cover concepts and character art, but again thats it....I'm not sure yet if I have the skill and stamina for doing interior panel work.... -
I would love to write comics, but I can't draw for shit, myself. I've got a lot of ideas, but I don't know how the whole process works (hooking up with an artist, selling the script, and whatever whatever), so I'm just concentrating on my other forms of writing right now.

Yeah, that would have to include me as well. A few short things written, none drawn as of yet (though one's being worked on - not by me, I don't really draw myself). More in the pipeline. -

Yes, I'd love to. Write or draw, but my drawing chops are up to pretty much nothing at the moment. Still, I've started a couple of times but mostly used to channel myself into making music. Now I'm not commited to a band things are percolating but I'm a long way off. -

Yes, boss. Currently scripting a 96-page serial to be published online in weekly six-page episodes a la Freakangels, and then collected in a POD paperback. Finished the first draft a couple of weeks ago, and aim to be done with the rewrite by the end of September. Planning to hit Panel and Pixel, Digital Webbing, etc., to find someone to, y'know, draw the thing for me. It's the first comic-book scripting I've ever done, and the first lengthy writing since I graduated college last year; the process to this point has been eminently satisfying.

hello. stopped posting and now lurk off and on.
i pencil/ink, have seedling plot ideas, but no desire to turn them into proper scripts. i don't read panel & pixels because it hurts to look at as a forum. haven't read enough to decide about its content. i've an itch to do something web-comicky, or short. -

Though I have been paid for an comic script, since the project hasn't been released yet I pretty sure that still puts me down as aspiring.
Writer. Have a script over at TokyoPop for their web initiative waiting for the artist to be freed up to work on it, and some of the ex-TokyoPop editors that I met have been hired by other companies and I am trying to use those side-connections to put together pitches for those companies. -

Well I decided I did so I'm chasing it. Got a few scripts greenlit for a project or two, working up a pitch with an artist for a creator owned thing and working with a different one for a new ongoing webcomic. But I, so far, only have a small credit editing a story in POPGUN vol 2. So. Want to, yes. Am trying, yes. Am not,really, currently. -

Luis, Portugal or Brazil? I was under the impression that most Portuguese speaking creators targeted the Brazilian market if they weren't living there...

I'd love to. Right now, I spend most of my time writing play scripts, but I did write and draw a crude guest comic for a friend's webcomic, and my friend Rick and I collaborated on a submission for a contest. (Kevin Smith was looking to start a comic anthology set in the View Askew universe.)
Before I did the guest comic, I hadn't drawn anything since high school, so it was exciting as hell to actually sit and work a comic out like that. Rick's art in the submission is, obviously light years ahead of my scribblings.
