There is, of course, the wiki at doktorsleepless.com. And the "hidden" DOKTOR SLEEPLESS online community, whose location lurks somewhere inside the wiki.
But it occurred to me that it might be a good idea, here in the space between the end of Vol 1 and the beginning of Vol 2, to launch a FAQ thread for the book. For those who haven't gotten to grips with the wiki, or may just be generally confused or have peculiar questions.
So... anything you want to know?
This thread can, obviously, be mined for wiki content.
Will there be an actual text for The Darkening Sky released, either within the pages of DS, as backmatter or even as a seperate comic issue or website? And if not, would it be OK for some of us to 'discover' excerpts and post them up to the wiki?
(Scary thought I know, but 'can I read Darkening Sky' is a common request on The Hidden Website!)
Do the little asterisk next to the names on the Sing's denote the user is male? (I notice Mars has it, but we have yet to meet anyone else on the list with one)
A movie studio offers to buy the rights. They'll gut the story to make a formulaic Hollywood movie out of it whilst keeping the name but you'll make some money out of it. Do you do it?
Is the Doktor a designer of St. Theresa's Eyes? He is under the effect of it, and seems to have it under control until he comes out of the bunker into the city rooftop.
What is with Pod? From what I can understand, they seem to be kind of representative of any regular music act heard on the radios these days. But I'm unsure of what they're in Doktor Sleepless for. I know the one group of grinders from 06 want to fuck them up, but do they represent anything else?
Also, upon my first time reading DS01 and seeing the name, my thoughts went immediately to the nu-metal christian metal act of a roughly similar name (Payable on Death, most commonly known as P.O.D.) I'm going to assume the naming is coincidental, but I'm wondering if you've gotten any flak about the choice of name, specifically from any lawyer types?

Wait a little longer. They're there for a reason, but a lot of stuff in DOK is long-game.

Never heard of them, never heard from their lawyers, would love them to try as I could use a little extra money for things around the house.

Yes. Because some people will go and find the books, afterwards.
