FileSavr is a new(ish) file uploader service. They usually charge $10 a month for a 250GB account, but from now until September 15th they're offering free accounts (free for LIFE) using the link below:

    Free FileSavr Account

Sorry for the short notice. I just stumbled across the link yesterday.

A few things. First, they say the accounts are free for life, but once you log in it says it's been paid up until 2038. No biggie, I don't think we'll be using file uploader services in 30 years, but I was just mentioning it for full disclosure.

So it's a 250 GB limit with a 10GB limit for each file. You can't upload regular folders, unfortunately, but you can upload compressed folders so I think it works out.

And not that I've heard of any security breaches with them, but I wouldn't recommend uploading sensitive information.

Finally, there doesn't appear to be a link to reset your password. There's a Contact link, so you may have to contact them and wait to hear back at some point later.

Dammit! I just spent 3 hours uploading an 8GB file...it got to 95% and then gave me some kind of error.

I'll have to investigate this...and by investigate, I mean try it again tomorrow.

Awesome! Technically 30 minutes into the 15th, but I still got an account. Thanks for pointing this out!

    Thanks for the heads up.

Probably gonna use this to keep backups of all my work. Should be a bit easier than emailing things to myself...
