I'm also Glen, and I am a Graphic Designer, currently doing in-house corporate design. It's not as fun as freelancing, but it's steady, and it pays the bills!

Recently unemployed after leaving last job when retching became part of my warming up for work routine. At that point I was a network installations guy.
Now I fix PCs , do illustrations and pop out horridly unprofessional websites for pennies.

Kitchen manager / cook / bartender / barback / wet nurse for drunken eedjits. Most of the folks at my bar share this kind of diffuse job description because we run on a skeleton crew so as to spread the tips around. It's hell, with benefits.

No weekends free, but really, who gives a fuck? Time is what you make of it. I have the first half of the week to exercise / meditate / read / soak in music & drugs / paint & write. Plan to self-publish come summer of next year.

I also document local graffiti, geocache w/out a GPS, practice urban exploration (fancy talk for fuck cars, I walk a lot), and wank furiously.

Failed college student (chemistry), looking for a job. Which is made somewhat harder by having a resume that's about as long as the list of things Hitler liked about jews.

I work at a staffing office that specializes in nurses and therapists. I do some of the staffing for the Denver area and I also am in charge of handling the compliance items the temps are required to have (certifications, health records, testing, etc).

I'm Orson, I am a researcher and writer for a museum and exhibition design firm. I'm also a commercial and documentary filmmaker. I lurk here after getting too chatty a while back.

I'm a computer lab monkey (tell people how to print and sometimes help their crippling ignorance of the world of COMP YOOTORES) and I'm a full time student.

    Software QA for video-on-demand systems.

I earn a couple of hundred dollars a year from writing, mostly role playing game material.

I own a design studio. Most of what we create is internet based content--advergames, banner campaigns and websites. We also do a fair bit of animation and motion graphics.

I write (HQMANIACS, BLOG, FATTITTUDE -- this one will go online soon), draw (CRIS DO MORRO, FLICKR) and am also a designer (OPTICA CARIJOS, MV CONTÁBIL, TRESQUARTOS, MAZZUCATO ADVOGADOS, PROPULSÃO)

More then half of this things doesn't pay me shit, but keeps me alive. The other half kills me slowly. I need them both for now, to keep my sanity in the first case and to pay the bills and food, in the second.

Grad student in Linguistics (working on that Piled higher and Deeper thing). I TA for a course in Asian lit - 25 centuries of Chinese lit and 20 centuries of Japanese lit in fifteen weeks. It's insane, but fun. Especially getting college freshmen to argue over the relative merits of Daoism and Confucianism.

Before coming back for grad school, I taught English overseas - 2 years in Japan, a year in Poland, 8 months in South Korea (remember the Asian economic collapse? yeah, guess when I was in Korea?) and seven years in Dubai. Warping the minds of young Emirati women!

I'm Matthew and I am a musician. That means I play in two bands, teaching violin and music theory, (and this year I'm organizing a "rock" group in the music school), and also play in various groups/orchestras to gather some more money. That summer I was working on my LCS, to gather some money cause I went to the Mozarteum (in Austria, Salzburg) for a violin masterclass, for two weeks.

I also try to write some stories hoping that they will be published one day, as comic books.

I work for a game dev studio attached to a big publisher.

I moonlight by taking non big 2 comic properties and making them into limited animation DVD products.

I threaten to do other things comic related...

I'm Ryan. I work in the shoe department in a department store in the mall. Most of my mornings are spent helping old people. It's a living and the things I like about my job outweigh the things I don't like.

im a patient healthcare advocate, which is the fancy way of saying i get in arguments with peoples insurance companies to make them pay bills instead of screwing you over. its pretty stressful, and requires me to use the noodle, as (anyone who has ever dealt with their insurance extensively can attest) its pretty complex.

I'm a PhD student right now, but I'm funded.
That means I get paid (through government-based agencies) to go to school and do strange research involving music and artificial neural networks.

I'm a history instructor at a community college, teaching six courses this semester. Wednesday I'm moderating a campus-wide discussion forum for Constitution Day and would really like to start talking about the secret constitution from CLV like it was a real thing.
