I enter data. I deal with idiots. I answer their phone calls and I rent them movies for extra money. Occasionally I write. I also like to lay in bed.

    I'm Hal.

I'm a graphic artist for a women and children's recovery institution called The Lovelady Center.

I also write and draw comics, but I don't make money doing that for some reason.

I also sing lead in a rock band. I don't make anything at that yet, either, but since the band was just recently signed to a label, that could change soon. Then maybe I can spend more time making comics.

I probably should update my job status - I make pizzas for a small family run business that uses as much local stuff and as little processed stuff as possible. The work is not that great but the family is awesome.

I work at a college as an "executive assistant". That means I do anything from grunt labor to running events and proctoring classes.

I also consider myself a "writer". That means I write the news for an entertainment website during the week and used to try to sell my meager amateur journalism skills. Now I try to work on comic-writing skills to sell like the cheap and battered crack whore I am.

I'm a freelance 3d animator. Architectural stuff mostly. And I do trauma counseling, am hoping to start a Tai Chi school and a reptile sanctuary in a dusty small town, and I make mosaic mirrors when the clients are quiet and I don't have exams (I am also a student.)

publishing assistant at a big internet open access science and medical publisher - proofreading pdfs and code before it's published and occasionally fixing it. our department spends its life bitching at the editors to do their jobs properly and make sure the authors are satisfied and have finished their manuscripts (little things like the *results*) before they hand them over to us for coding.

Seeing as how I haven't yet, I figured I'd bite while I'm taking 10 minutes in between writing.

Currently, I hold down 3 sometimes 4 different jobs:

Main source of monetaries that I, sometimes surprisingly, enjoy thoroughly = the Widening Participation Administration Assistant at Goldsmiths, University of London
Job I love, hate and irregularly do = book and comic book buyer at the Book and Comic Book Exchange
Job I do even more irregularly = 'Motivational Speaker' wherein I tell the kiddies how they might put on plays, get themselves published etc
and I occasionally get paid for my theatre work - my last paid gig was in February at the first LSE Arts Festival.

I also volunteer for the charity Poet in the City and am a board member [which means payment in privileges like copies of the journal and coffee and things] of Modern Poetry in Translation.

With all that, you might think I'd have little time for a social life...but...I...err, I think I make the most of mine. [Yes, I'm single.]

College student, currently unemployed. Plan on doing some work in the medical field (lab work or radiography) in order to bankroll a dream career in environmental science or history.

I'm Kieran and I'm a librarian responsible for two University libraries (kind of ... long story) specialised in architecture, engineering and ... agronomy (and related fields). Yes, I like books, duh ! I'm mostly a librarian because I was throwned away from art school and the terrible fact that I like to be sure that my filthy assistant are women.

    So... update.

I have been promoted (yeah, that's what tell myself) to working in a remote Indigenous Community in Far North Queensland. I live in a renovated shipping container and spend my days trying to write and avoiding the local riots as well as trying to manage 100 offenders (many of those rioters) within the community. It's an eye opener that's for sure. Oh, and I've now been forced to stop procrastinating about starting my accoutrement business as my best friend has set me up a website and is asking for photos of my work.

I work several part time jobs- preschool teacher (ages 4-5), nanny, babysitter, photographer.
  6.  (3597.916)
I'm Ryan and I'm a college student (Journalism Major/ Music Minor)

Currently I'm interning at the Denver Onion A.V. Club. It's an unpaid internship and no we don't write the comedy bits, mostly we write local music, stand-up comic, food and film bits. Also a hell of a lot of data entry. No bylines yet but hopefully soon.

I run the web department for the psychology division of an international academic/professional publishing company - which generally involves managing a team of web developers/designers (I was one once myself) and developing our internet strategy.

I am a software engineer for money. I also engage in stranger and more interesting ventures with this board's John Skylar.
