    Thank you all, they are cute. They save that up for public viewing, its different when their home and the cameras not flashing.

    @LBA, I'm from Jersey originally, but they seemed to pick up on things pretty quickly on their own. Nicholas and his sister Erin (older, not pictured) are rivals on everything BUT the Tarheels.

    I've had plastic clips break on me before, but never a metal one, and it hasn't completely snapped either, just started... peeling apart like that. Nowhere nears a full load either, so yeah, quite surprised :(

    I used mine over the weekend and am loving it. Fits everything I need - camera, lense, film, some TPBs, moleskin notebook and a PSP. Everything you need for a day of urban exploring / people watching. Will post some pics when I get a chance.

    @Brandon Ciphered thanks for the tip; I'll have to give it a try The old-school Nikon I use weighs a ton and has broken a few camera straps already.

    @spiraltwist - let your audience decide what's important in a photo... jk that came out a little creepy. i think it's my avatar. everything sounds a little creepy coming from a morphed photo of John Lennon and Vladimir Lenin. Gonna have to change that.

    Took the advice of you folks and sprayed my bag with waterproofer. It's curing at the moment; in 24 hours or so I'll let folks know how it turned out.

    If this works out, my next project is to waterproof EVERY OBJECT I OWN, just for the pure mad prak of it all. And so I don't waste the rest of that can of waterproofer.

    bag arrived. had wondered about comments about strap. wow, thats almost non-existent, not sure how i'll get on with a strap that thin. which is a shame, because the bag itself is pretty smart.
