The new Mountain Goats/Kaki King tour EP is another grade of wonderful altogether.

Of this week's releases, the four Replacements remastered albums have owned my CD changer this morning.

    Still into The Alyscamps.
Found a band named "Pelican" that makes me really happy.

And I have a new favourite song:
Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip: "Beat That My Heart Skipped"

    Also I listen to:

Creature Feature: "Aim for the Head"
Erik Hallden: "If I ever got married"

Awesome! Thanks for this. They sound like Adrian Belew's latest albums, with a taste of 80s King Crimson, Talking Heads etc

Feeling a craving for some Cruzados, but the only song I have is "Just Like Roses". Had a whole bunch more on my old computer, but of course that's dead.

    There's always Tito & Tarantula, I guess...

I'm sorely disappointed by the new Mogwai and Squarepusher albums. Really not up to much. The new Slipknot starts very well, but culminates in a collection of dirgey ballads. So bugger that, I've started listening to Iowa a lot.

Fortunately, Dear Science by TV On The Radio has lived up to the hype. I've been playing that non-stop for a couple of days now.
