@Rob Diston: Have you got more than the Grey Machine free mp3 up on their site?
Vultures Descend is pretty much half way between Godflesh and Jesu - wondered if there was any variety in it

Since today is my birthday, my three year old bought me the following albums:

    Accelerator by Royal Trux
The Airing of Grievances (I can never spell after dinner) by Titus Andronicus
The first three Belle and Sebastian albums
a while pile of Sonic Youth and Daniel Johnston albums. Probably enough for the next two weeks listening threads.

Who knew a three year old had so much cash???

RINGERS/AMPERE split 6" (seriously, the ringers song DIALTONES is unstoppable once it gets in your brain. punkish pop that you want to sing along and throw a strangers dishes out of a moving car to)
PHOENIX BODIES-cobra commander 2008 7"(if an emoviolence song can be catchy, the title track on this would be it. THIS IS A CHOICE YOU WILL NOT REGRET-COBRA COMMANDER FOR PRESIDENT!!!)

*Leila - Blood, Looms & Blooms
It's a bit like waking up hungover in a samples closet. Not bad beats, though.

    * Still looping TVotR and Tricky now and again to see if/where they're going to live on my playlist.
  4.  (3734.10)
Gym Class Heroes - The Quilt

    Mugison - Mugiboogie.

I bought it on the strength of two big rock numbers, but it's turned out to be a wonderfully heartfelt slice of folksy melancholy. Very much looking forward to seeing this guy in December.

Caravan - For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night.

Progtastic! Makes me want to wear white robes and thread flowers through women's hair. In the autumnul countryside.
