    Sorry KK, but that plane cover is the art print I'd buy.

    Both pieces are simply gorgeous - and as usual with Paul's work, the colors are as important as the outlines to create a truly stunning piece. My favorite is the plane.
  3.  (3822.8)
    I really can't decide between the two. Both are brilliant. I'm definitely going to try and get this.

    You are, hands down, one of my favorite artists.

    hmmm... I wonder why that one costs more. It looks nice, but I actually like the first one more, myself. I'd love to get the WWT one but I'm not going to the convention so that won't be happening.

    @Ferbruton

    The above premium edition is limited to 750 copies.

    The WWTX one is limited to 1500 copies and is a couple dollars more than the regular cover.

    oh wow... only 750... I'd probably be into that if I were a collector.

    Our current plans are to make all the covers available for ordering through us right after the convention. As far as available from Diamond - wouldn't be until 2009, and that will all depend on how inventory is holding up. The black premium cover Spiral shows off above will all be signed by Paul. Both Paul and I are really pleased with how this book turned out, so thanks for all the kind words of support.

    I regard his stuff with a combination of admiration and grinding envy.

    looks great! probably more of my money going to avatar...regardless, i can agree with the round of ass-kissing and say that you are an artist i will DEFINITELY be following in the years to come.

    @ joe.distort

    if we're lucky (and I'm inclined to think we are) our weekly 6-page fix of freakangels will span those "years to come" you mention. longhaul.

    2009...and depending on inventory??? Aaarrrggghhh.

    The only way Avatar can torture me more is by saying that the 2009 release date won't be until very late in the year.

    The premium edition is very nice also. Too bad I don't have the money... ugh. Great cover, though. Thanks, Spiraltwist!
